Decent Fluke and big Seabass catches most of this week when drifting conditions where reasonable. Chris Molinari was the July monthly pool winner with a 9 lb 3 oz Fluke.
Decent week of Fluke catches but conditions dictated the results each trip. Weekend results were mixed with a poor day Saturday because it was so rough and a better day and a lot more action on Sunday Catches this week include the new July monthly winner Chris Molinari No Haledon NJ with a 9 pound 3 ounce Fluke Charles Granger Matawan, NJ limit Fluke to 7 lbs and 3 Seabass Tim Walliston Pennsauken, NJ limit Fluke to 8 lbs and 3 Seabass Half Day Fluke 8 am and 2 pm everyday except Mondays All Day Fluke and Seabass every Monday 7 30 am
Bunch of limits including Eric Slonaker, Chris Molinari, Frank Pogue, E. Smith , C. Mantlick. Erics monthly lead was beat out by Chris Molinari who landed a 9.
Good Fluke fishing today even with a fast drift lots of throwbacks but some nice 4-6 pounders hitting the deck also Biggest fish of the week was caught by Joe Baczynski Willingboro, NJ a 9. 5 pound Flattie Gary Berger Trenton caught a limit today with a 5 and a 7 pounder part of his limit Walter Scire Manchester had a limit to 6 lbs Larry Quattrano Princeton, NJ limit Fluke to 6 lbs Best fishing of the summer right now for quantity and quality Capt Ryan
Some bigger keepers, lots more throwbacks and good action as temps push into the sixties - hope it stays there with more south wind coming. Dan Weeks Trenton and Brian Phelder Washington, NJ had limits up to 5 lbs Pics are coming Hopefully the uptick in action will continue, it should if water temps hold Bucktailing has worked best when the drift has been slow but dragging baits better when the wind blows.
Kinda a tough week of fishing this past week, south winds have been very annoying keeping the water cold. Once this storm exits hopefully water will settle and fishing should improve as water temperatures rise.
